E-Learning Officers
The position of E-Learning Officer was created as part of TU Dresden’s e-learning strategy.
The Center for Interdisciplinary Learning and Teaching supports the 17 E-Learning Officers with regular personal advising sessions and comprehensive informational meetings about digital teaching and learning.
TU Dresden’s E-Learning Officers each represent one faculty. They are appointed within the faculty and act as multipliers, spokespersons and support staff for all matters concerning e-learning. They typically belong to the teaching staff at their faculty and take on this additional responsibility voluntarily.
The E-Learning Officers...
- Promote communication and networking with superior support institutions at TUD (ZiLL, ZIH, etc.)
- Offer training courses and support within their faculty
- Stimulate regular networking among the E-Learning Officers
- Publicize and pass on continuing education courses in digital teaching
- Serve as contacts for lecturers who encounter problems in teaching
