The faces behind FOSTER funding: New interview series online
This year, the Funds for Student Research (FOSTER) is celebrating its fourth anniversary as part of TU Dresden's Excellence Strategy. FOSTER promotes student research through financial incentives and further training opportunities and gives it visibility.
In particular, students are supported in their research projects, as well as in organizing student events or participating in research competitions and conferences. Teachers and early-career researchers who would like to initiate teaching-learning formats at the TUD to strengthen student research or accompany student research projects and need resources and support can also contact FOSTER.
In the new interview series, the grantees provide insights into the exciting possibilities of FOSTER funding and report on their diverse research activities.
Find out, for example, how the iGEM team from TU Dresden won a gold medal in the world's largest synthetic biology competition or read more about Alexander Alfred Zyla's participation in the ISCP 25 conference in Kyoto, where he received a silver medal for the presentation of his feasibility study on the implementation of a two-phase plasma catalytic reactor.
Are you curious about what student research at TU Dresden looks like? The FOSTER program homepage will take you to our interview series, which is continuously supplemented by new contributions from our grantees.
It's worth staying tuned!
