Learn to create VR scenarios yourself! Meeting of the XR community on June 26, 2025

Would you like to create VR scenarios for teaching and learning contexts and are looking for a simple, structured introduction to the topic?

At the next meeting of the XR-Community Dresden, Gesine Wegner will present the new OER self-study course "Creating VR scenarios based on 360-degree videos yourself", which will be available to newcomers from various subject areas to help them take their first steps in the future. The self-study course is based on the findings of the D2C2 project.

Following the introduction to the self-study course, the development of a VR application will be presented using a concrete example. A student teacher from the TUD will present a virtual excursion to the Amazon rainforest, which she developed as part of her state examination thesis. Trying it out is expressly encouraged!
