PhD Seminar (05/06.02.2024)

We just completed two exciting days of our PhD-intermediate review. PhD-students from Ireland and Germany met to report about their progress.

PhD-topics cover numerous thematic areas, such as: GIS, Smart Buildings, transportation engineering, and data economy. The “common denominators” are BIM and artificial intelligence.

The PhD Biannual Seminar takes place twice a year, where PhD students meet in person. Each PhD student presents their work progress, including what has been achieved and what the next steps are. This includes conference papers and journal articles, as well as discussions on the doctoral thesis with their supervisors.

We especially thank our external examiners from NTNU Norway, Fraunhofer, FH Aachen, HTW Dresden, the IERC in Cork, Ireland and from numerous industry partners.
