Framework for Product-Process Modelling
The framework for the semantic representation of Product-Process Modelling is developed as a Part of BIM4EEB EU Project and is published in IFIP PLM 2020 international conference.
The title of publication:
Enhancement of BIM Data Representation in Product-Process Modelling for Building Renovation
The Conference paper publishes soon in Springer.
About
The goal of Product-Process modelling is to represent the product-process relations over construction lifecycles, covering activities, tasks, and sequences, their interrelations to stakeholders involved, the required information, and other resources. The developed methodological schema results in the six-dimensional intercommunication framework including Activity, Stakeholder, BLCS, LOD, BIM data and Use case.
Based on the developed framework an ontology called Digital Construction Lifecycle is developed and published under Digital Construction Ontologies.
Digital Construction Lifecycle ontology provides the terms to represent the evolution of information about a building over successive building lifecycle stages and refinement of information through multiple LOD levels.
The ontology is able to represent different LOD frameworks such as levels of detail, levels of development, or levels of definition, Activities over construction lifecycle can be associated with information flow roles - information production, processing and consuming - which makes it possible to link them to appropriate agents.
