3. Deutsches Industrieseminar für digitale Betonbauverfahren
After the great success of the 2nd German Industrial Seminar in 2020 (click here for the conference report), the Institutes of Building Materials and Construction Management and the Endowed Chair of Construction Machinery at the Technische Universität Dresden invite you to the 3rd German Industrial Seminar - Concrete 3D Printing and Other Digital Concrete Construction Methods on 03 November 2021. The rapid development and the potential of the underlying technologies call for a regular exchange between the stakeholders involved.
Speakers from industry and science will provide an up-to-date overview of the state of the art, the relevant development trends, but also the challenges in dealing with novel manufacturing processes in digital concrete construction.
Goals
The construction industry is facing major challenges: Automation, increases in productivity, process quality, resource efficiency as well as improved working conditions are becoming increasingly important for securing the competitiveness of the entire industry. The consequences of the shortage of skilled workers are already clearly noticeable and require realisable perspectives. The digitalisation and automation of relevant manufacturing processes represent a promising approach to a solution. For digital construction on the building site and in prefabrication, concrete 3D printing processes are particularly suitable. Together with digital planning, these could pave the way to Building 4.0.
Participants
The event is aimed at developers, users and decision-makers from the fields of automation and digitalisation of operational construction processes, solid construction, building materials technology and mechanical engineering, as well as all those interested in innovation in the construction industry.
Registration
The industry seminar will be held online once again due to corona. A fee of € 125.00 is payable by invoice for participation. In addition to participation in all parts of the programme, the fee includes the electronically provided conference documents. Please use our online platform for registration.
