Abstract
The aim of the proposed research project is to investigate the influence of heterogeneity and different wave propagation on crack propagation and crack velocity in concrete, using methods such as computed tomography. The effect of heterogeneity on strength increase is to be determined quantitatively. Overall, this should contribute to ensuring the integrity and durability of structural elements in nuclear facilities.
