Elective module in the main study period for the specialization in structural engineering
Prior knowledge
The skills to be acquired in the modules Fundamentals of Engineering Mechanics (BIW1-03), Advanced Engineering Mechanics (BIW1-04), Linear Algebra and Analysis (BIW1-05), Building Materials (BIW1-08), Structural Analysis (BIW2-02), Fundamentals of Steel Construction and Timber Construction (BIW2-01) and Steel Construction, Timber Construction and Application of Fracture Mechanics (BIW3-03) are required.
Course contents
Design, construction and calculation of cable-stayed bridges.
