Every year, the Industrieclub Sachsen e.V. and the TU Dresden honor outstanding dissertations by young scientists at TU Dresden, who are characterized by the particular practical relevance of their innovative content, with the innovation prize of the Industrieclub Sachsen.

The work must result in innovative ideas and/or application-oriented methods and/or practical solutions. The practical relevance of theoretical knowledge must be presented in the work and, if possible, proven by an expert opinion from the economy.

The prize is donated by the Industrieclub Sachsen e.V. and is endowed with €5,000. The university teachers are entitled to make suggestions. The work is said to have been completed and defended from January to December 2021.

The proposals are submitted electronically by the deans of the faculties or the directors of the scientific institutions with a detailed explanation of the supervising university teachers, a statement on the practical implementation in marketable products, the respective reports on the work, the curriculum vitae and a list of publications to be submitted by May 31, 2022 to: Office of the Rector/Committee Support, Mandy Dziubanek, E-Mail: . The award ceremony will take place in a festive setting by the Rector and the President of the Industrieclub Sachsen e.V.
