Dear friends of the Custody,
dear colleagues and interested parties,

As early as the 16th century, Leonardo da Vinci wrote that "we know more about the movement of celestial bodies than about the ground beneath our feet." More than 500 years later, this statement has lost none of its relevance. The exhibition project "Down to Earth. Art and Soil Sciences in Dialogue" now shows that the soil beneath our feet is not only the essential foundation of our lives, but even art.
 
At the opening of the five-part exhibition project "Down to Earth. Art and Soil Science in Dialogue" with works by Asad Raza, Anne Carnein, Veronika Pfaffinger and Betty Beier, we would like to cordially invite you from 4 May 2022!
