Career-Support: Congress participation and English proofreading
Female academics who are still in the qualification phase can apply for financial support for activities that serve the implementation of the equal opportunities mission in our school, according to the equal opportunities concept of the University of Technology.
In 2021, these funds could be used to support 10 female scientists at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering.
This year, the School of Civil and Environmental engineering is once again granting financial support for participation on international events (max. 500 euro and for submitting publications to international journals (max. 300 euro for English proofreading).
Target group: doctoral candidates, post-doctoral candidates, post-doctoral researchers.
Requirements:
- Event participation:
Indication of the event (e.g. congresses, workshops etc.); confirmation of acceptance of a presentation or poster by the organisers; copy of an abstract; business trip application, if applicable.
- English proofreading:
Cost estimate; proof that the publication has been submitted to a journal with an impact factor.
Informal applications can be submitted to the equal opportunities officers of the School of Civil and Environment Engineering until 30th. April 2022.
