Final of the GEE Award with participants of the Professorship of Energy Economics.
Dr. Philipp Hauser, former staff member of the Chair of Energy Economics, is one of the finalists of the GEE Award with his dissertation "Benefits and Costs of Diversification in the European Natural Gas Market". Among three finalists each in the category dissertation and master thesis the award ceremony will take place on December 2 in Berlin.

General information about the GEE Award
Since 2002, the GEE e. V. has been awarding the prize of the Energy Forum Berlin, which honors current academic work dealing with energy science issues. Besides papers with economic concepts, papers with technical, legal, political or sociological approaches are explicitly welcome.
In terms of content, the theses should make a contribution to current energy industry issues. The jury will award the best theses in the final with a total prize money of:
- 1,000 euros (dissertation)
- 750 euros (master's thesis or equivalent)
