Dr.-Ing. Toralf Burkert was appointed honorary professor for the subject "Repair and upgrading of historical buildings" at the rectorate meeting on August 3rd, 2021.

Mr. Burkert has been supervising the subject offered by the Chair of Structural Planning in a very successful manner for almost twenty years. Particularly noteworthy are the many theses published by Mr. Burkert, which are often little-known and in need of renovation architectural monuments in Saxony and often raise awareness of their endangerment and the need to preserve them.

The Chair of Structural Planning congratulates Prof. Dr.-Ing. Burkert is very sincere and is delighted with him about this award.
