Addressing shortcomings, taking decisive action: The Annual Report of the German Council of Economic Experts, this was the title of a discussion event with the Chair of the German Council of Economic Experts, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Monika Schnitzer, on 16.01.2025 at the Faculty of Business and Economics. In the very well-filled lecture hall HÜL S 386, Monika Schnitzer presented the annual report on macroeconomic development published in November and discussed pressing economic policy issues with Prof. Dr. Christian Leßmann (Chair of Economics, in particular International Economic Relations) and the audience following her presentation. The event was organized jointly with the Dresden branch of the ifo Institute.
