In the context of a research project with Prof Dr Daniel Leising on the topic of power in university employment relationships, four Master's students in Psychology have developed a workshop that we would like to draw your attention to today.
 
The pilot workshop is aimed at doctoral students and will take place on two consecutive dates on 11 and 18 January 2024 from 5.15 pm to 8.45 pm under the title "Fair Promotion: Empowerment in Academic Employment Relationships".
 
The aim of the workshop is to develop sensitivity and action-oriented skills in dealing with power relations and dependencies in the context of doctoral studies. Various forms of abuse of power will be examined and personal protection and risk factors identified. The overriding credo is to create a safe space for mutual exchange, networking and personal reflection.

There will be an anonymous workshop evaluation; no other data will be collected.
