Winner at Science Slam

On 28 and 29 June 2022, the Faculty Days of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences took place at TUD Dresden with a diverse program, including inaugural lectures as well as a science slam of international students. We are very proud that our student Samantha Levi won first place in the science slam and could compete against six other candidates. The task was to present an own research project in an entertaining and funny way. Afterwards, the audience voted.

Samantha Levi is part of the 10th intake of our international cartography master program. She is currently writing her master thesis with the topic "Emojis as indicators of spatial-temporal-thematic developments in geo-social media" at TU Dresden and presented this work at the science slam.
