Pursuing a Doctorate and Habilitation in the Department of
Anyone wishing to pursue a Ph.D. in the Department of Geosciences within the Faculty of Environmental Sciences must first find a faculty member who is willing to serve as their doctoral advisor. The faculty’s doctoral committee then decides on the application for admission as a doctoral student.
The habilitation is an academic examination process that grants the qualification to teach in a specific academic discipline.
