On 16.01.2024, a networking workshop of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences with colleagues from the Environmental Research Center Leipzig/Halle -UFZ took place at TU Dresden. The 20 scientists from different research walks of environmental sciences informed each other about their current research in short keynote speeches and exchanged ideas about possible joint research platforms and topics for joint (DFG) proposals. The focus was explicitly on getting to know each other personally and making contacts. There will be a return visit by the TUD colleagues to the UFZ in early summer, presumably to the Global Change Experimental Facility in Bad Lauchstädt.
