How we move into the future: Inaugural lecture of Prof. S. Travis Waller on June 16
Prof. Dr. S. Travis Waller enriches the community of the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences since 1 April 2022. He has moved from Sydney/Australia to Dresden to be the head of the new Lighthouse Professorship "Transport Modelling and Simulation” – a call that came to him completely unexpectedly and delighted him greatly, as he himself says (see article in the online magazine "Verkehrslage").
On 16 June, he will introduce himself to the TUD community and network partners in a university-wide inaugural lecture entitled "How We Move into the Future: The Complex Models Needed to Understand Emerging Transport". Interested parties are cordially invited.
date: June 16, 2022
time: 4:40 - 6:10 pm
place: Heinz-Schönfeld-auditorium, Barkhausenbau I90, Helmholtzstraße 18
The lecture will be held in English and will also be livestreamed on Youtube.
