Getting girls interested in STEM studies: Girls' Day Academy Dresden pupils visit Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences

They are interested in science and technology and spend an afternoon every week for a school year in a STEM-related company or scientific institution: the girls of the Girls' Day Academy (GDA) Dresden. In the first half of the current school year, three groups of 7th to 9th grade girls from various Dresden schools visited the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Tr5affic Sciences at TU Dresden.
A recent article in the faculty's online magazine, "Verkehrslage", describes which workshops they attended and what they experienced.
