New Scholarships – Funding for high-achieving transport students

Scholarships starting in the first semester of the Master's programme are intended to support particularly talented applicants who can be expected to perform excellently in their studies and careers.

Rail Power Systems GmbH, based in Munich, is the next company to provide financial support for a scholarship at the "Friedrich List" Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences in order to actively shape its own engineering and specialist requirements. The scholarship, funded by RPS and awarded by the faculty, will be allocated to a first-semester student from one of the two Master's degree programs "Railway Systems Engineering" or "Electrical Transport Systems" for 24 months, starting in the winter semester 2024/25.

Applicants who apply for a place on one of the two Master's degree programmes for the winter semester 2024/25 can also apply for the IKOS scholarship at the same time. The application deadline for the IKOS scholarship has been extended to 22 September. The Faculty Council appoints a committee to award the scholarship and appoints the chairperson.
