Board of Academic Advisers to the BMVI

As a member of the Board of Academic Advisers to the Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure, Prof. Fricke promotes a continuous scientific exchange of ideas between the Federal Ministry and other members of the board. The Academic Board is responsible for a steady flow of information between transport science and transport politics.

Industry Partners

The Chair conducts joint research projects with industry partners in the field of air transportation. These projects included both contract work as well as collaborations with the research departments of the respective partners, including air navigation service providers (ANSP), airlines, aerodrome operators and government agencies.

The Chair's Research Network

The Chair maintains an international network consisting of research institutes and universities. Due to its affiliation with the ASDA and DLR@TU9, the chair is well connected to the European and national scientific world.

Collaborations of the Chair

The Chair of Air Transport Technology and Logistics maintains an extensive network, including both research collaborations as well as the air transport industry, public agencies and politics.

Over the past years, Prof. Fricke has become a esteemed member of the Board of Academic Advisers to the Federal Minister of Transport and Digital Infrastructure to ensure a continuous exchange between the Federal Minister and other professors working in the various fields of transportation science.

Moreover, the Chair gained comprehensive experiences with research related collaboration agreements. On the one hand, several research projects were conducted mutually with different partners in the air transportation industry. Either, these projects were organized in terms of contract work or in terms of collaborations with the research departments of the involved companies. On the other hand, the chair is well connected to many other national and international research institutes.
