Use in research
Evaluations for groups of participating cities (fact sheets and table reports) and the comparison of participating cities are available for download on the SrV 2018 and SrV 2013 results pages.
Databases with cross-city datasets can be requested for scientific use. Before they are provided, a user agreement is made.
For the use of city-specific evaluations and data sets, the permission of the respective commissioning institutions (cities, transport companies, transport associations, etc.) is required. This must be obtained from the respective institution. The TU Dresden will be happy to support you to get in contact with the relevant contact persons.

City-specific evaluations are available as reports and fact sheets. These have the same structure as the cross-city evaluations, for example of the SrV 2018 on large cities located in Eastern Germany (fact sheet and standard tables 1.1 to 11.3 in the table report).
The cross-city and city-specific databases can be provided in relational form in Microsoft Access file format or separated by level (households, persons, trips) in IBM SPSS and CSV formats. The databases are each available as a Public Use File or a Scientific Use File. The Public Use File contains all necessary variables for common structural and behavioral evaluations of mobility. The Scientific Use File contains additional variables for in-depth scientific and methodological analyses also of specific areas.
For initial guidance regarding the cities that participated in SrV, the available samples, and the characteristics covered, please refer to the methodological reports on the SrV 2018 and SrV 2013 results pages.
Persons or institutions will not be charged for the use of the evaluations or data sets.
Requests for data use can initially be made informally and via the contact provided here.
