New courses from winter semester 2025/2026

From winter semester 2025/2026, we will be welcoming students on the Bachelor's degree course in Mobility and Transport Systems for the first time - welcome!

To ensure that the range of courses offered in all degree programs remains up-to-date, there are minor changes to the elective modules at the beginning of each semester.

All changes from October 2025 are listed below.

Diploma program Transport Engineering (Regulations 2022)

• VW-VI-1383 Advanced Modeling in Railway Transport Science [NEW]
  The module will be newly created.
• VW-VI-1622 Market-oriented service provision in rail freight and passenger transport
  The module is now only offered as a compulsory module. VW-VI-1622a can be taken instead as a compulsory elective module.
• VW-VI-1622a Market-oriented Design of Rail Freight and Passenger Transport
  The module is now offered as a compulsory elective module and thus replaces VW-VI-1622 as a compulsory elective module. The new examination achievement is a portfolio.
• VW-VI-1680a Deployment of rail vehicles (ex VW-VI-1680)
  Qualification objectives and content have been updated.

• VW-MOVE-120 Transportation Telematic Systems
  The requirements for participation have changed.
• The language modules VW-MOVE-815 to VW-MOVE-897 are new and replace the language modules VW-MOVE-901 to VW-MOVE-909, which are no longer offered.
• VW-MOVE-933a Environmental Economics (ex VW-MOVE-933)
  Qualification objectives and content have been updated.
  The module is limited to 30 students.

  The module will be newly created.
• VW-ATL-82a Market-orientated design of rail freight and passenger transport (ex VW-ATL-82)
  Qualification objectives and content have been updated.

• VW-ATL-83 Advanced Modeling in Railway Transport Science [NEW]
  The module is newly established.
• VW-ALT-91 Vocational Internship in Air Transport and Logistics
  The requirements for the module have been extended.
