UNILIVE on January 15, 2026: Get to know Transport and Traffic Sciences at the university information day
On January 15, 2026, the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences will once again open its doors to students. At the UNILIVE university information day, prospective students can attend courses at TU Dresden, find out about their desired degree programs and explore the campus.
Get to know Transport ans Traffic Sciences
The Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences presents itself with a diverse program in the Gerhart-Potthoff-Bau, Hettnerstr. 1-3.
In addition to an information stand with advice on studying by representatives of the student body, lecturers will open their courses to pupils on this day. Lectures and laboratory tours will also offer exciting insights into studying transport and traffic sciences.
Prospective students who cannot be on site can take advantage of the digital lectures on offer:
- 13:00 - 14:00 Lecture "The range of courses offered by the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences" followed by a Studi-Talk.
- 14:50 - 16:20 Lecture "The Master's degree programs offered by the Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences: Contents, career prospects and admission requirements" followed by a discussion round
The full program is now available in the UNILIVE app, which can be accessed directly (without downloading) on your smartphone and offers practical filter functions and live updates. This makes it easy to save all events and keep an eye on them at all times.
Central offers
The Central Student Information and Counseling Service's overview lecture "What? When? Where? How? - Studying at TU Dresden". From 9 a.m., students, lecturers and staff will be available at the central information market to discuss the range of courses on offer. Central Units such as the ServiceCenterStudium will provide tips and information on study orientation, application, financing and housing. Prospective students can also get to know TUD on tours of the campus.
For parents who come to TUD with their children, there will be a tour of the campus and a presentation on ways to support their child in choosing a course of study.
