Post-doctoral dissertation project: Change management of work and organizations
This dissertation project examines the change of production processes and their impacts on organizations and their members. The development from standardized mass production to a customized making of products and services, which is increasingly effected in a network of producer, supplier and customer, is one example for such processes of change. This form of „joint development“ (co configuration) involves new challenges for companies and staff and requires, e.g., new methods of collaborative learning such as exemplary and metaphorical learning. The post-doctoral dissertation project explores such forms of work transformation, shows requirements for the management of work and develops ideas for the configuration of learning processes in organization.
