Basic Studies, Business Information Systems

The Basic Studies of the program include two compulsory modules in Business Information Systems. Both comprise five credit points each.

• Introduction to Business Information Systems (Einführung in die Wirtschaftsinformatik)

This module provides an overview of information systems and information technology in business environments.

• Programming & Databases (Programmierung und Datenbanken)

This module will give you a basic knowledge of the tasks and challenges of programming. You will learn how to create and operate databases and acquire a practical programming language you can apply to using databases.
