Sander Münster - Profil
Sander Münster studied economics, history and educational science at the TU Dresden until 2009 and did his doctorate in 2014 in the field of educational technology under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Thomas Köhler and Prof. Dr. Stephan Hoppe on "Interdisciplinary cooperation in the creation of historical 3D reconstructions". Since 2018 he has been a habilitant at the University of Regensburg under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Christian Wolff, Prof. Dr. Hans Gruber and Prof. Dr. Malte Rehbein. His habilitation topic is "Digital 3D technologies for humanities research and education".
Since 2012, he has been heading both, the Media Design and Production Department with currently around 25 employees at the Media Center of the TU Dresden and, since 2015, the BMBF-eHumanities Young Investigators Group HistStadt4D. In 2016, he was appointed a Young Investigator as a research-oriented equivalent to a assistant professorship, currently supervising three dissertations as the first supervisor or mentor and one dissertation as a second supervisor.
