Erasmus Mundus Joint Master (EMJM)
Development of Joint European Master Programmes leading to a double or joint degree
Development of Programme of excellence attracting talent from all over the world by a highly integrated institutional cooperation and compulsory individual student mobility, with high level EU-funded scholarships for the best students applying.
Transnational study programme delivered by an international partnership of Higher Education Institutions from different countries leading to a double or joint degree
- Institutional costs per enrolled student (750 EUR per month of study) for a maximum of 100 enrolled students (1,8 mio EUR per programme)
- Full scholarships for max. 60 students (1 400 EUR per month)
- Contribution to special needs
Partnership of at least three full partner Higher Education Institutions from three different countries, of which two must be from programme countries.
- A jointly designed fully integrated curriculum and common implementation procedures based on the Standards for Quality Procedures of Joint Programmes in the EHEA
- International outreach
- Obligatory mobility
- Delivery of joint or multiple degrees
Duration:
six Academic years with at least four editions of the master programme, lasting one to two academic years
EMJM curriculum must include at least two study periods in two countries, of which at least one programme country

Erasmus Mundus Design Mesure (EMDM)
This funding line is intended to support preparatory actions for the development of a joint transnational Master's program.
- Creation of new Erasmus Mundus Master programmes with participation of (a) programme Countries, (b) institutions, and/or (c) thematic areas that are under-represented in Erasmus Mundus
- 15 month period of preparing a EMDM application
Lump Sum 55.000€
One HEI for a consortium as in Erasmus Mundus Joint Master, prepared to start the Joint Master Programme within 15 months.
