Creative Europe –programme Culture: New Call for Proposal for cooperation projects
On 16 October 2018, the new Call for Proposals for small and large Cooperation Projects within the Creative Europe programme – sub-programme ‘Culture’ has been opened.
The call documents for small and large cooperation projects with submission deadline on 11 December 2018 are available here. In total, around 44.5 million euros are available.
European cooperation projects are supposed to help making the European cultural and creative sector internationally visible, promote the international mobility of actors in the sector, support the cross-border dissemination of cultural works, address new audiences and test new business models as well as support the use of digital technologies.
The following new project priorities have been added:
- Enhance intercultural dialogue, promote shared EU values and mutual understanding and respect for other cultures, thereby contributing to the social integ ration of migrants and refugees;
- As a legacy to the European Year of Culture Heritage, raise awareness of common history and values, and reinforce a sense of belonging to a common European space
Smaller scale cooperation projects (category 1):
- max. 200.000 EUR
- 60% EU-grant (40% own contribution)
- 1 project leader, at least 2 other project partners from at least 3 different countries
Larger scale cooperation projects (category 2):
- max. 2 Mio. EUR
- 50 % EU-grant (50 % own contribution)
- 1 project leader, at least 5 other project partners from at least 6 different countries
Project duration: max. 48 month (both categories)
The earliest possible project start date for approved projects is 1 September 2019, the latest possible project start date is 15 December 2019 (applies to both categories).
