FCP: Business 2020 Video Portraits
Many academics aim for a career outside academia but are often unaware of the variety of career opportunities and the plethora of companies that might be suitable for them. Besides, there is often uncertainty about how to make the transition from an academic career to the business world.
Our project
Therefore, we, the participants of the Future Career Program: Business of the Graduate Academy of the TU Dresden, have set ourselves the task of shedding light on various career paths for academics. We interviewed four academics who have chosen a non-university career in video portraits about their entry into the non-university working environment and their everyday working life. Also, interested doctoral students had the opportunity to ask the speakers questions in advance.
