ehs Dresden offers bridge courses for foreign graduates in the fields of social work, pedagogy and education
The IQ project at the ehs centre offers
- a bridge course in social work, pedagogy and education (3 months),
- an orientation course school (3 to 4 weeks)
- an information course on career paths for teachers (1 to 2 days) and
- individual qualification support.
If you know or advise people who have obtained a university degree in social work, pedagogy or education in their countries of origin and who want to work in the social or pedagogical field in Saxony, please point them to our offers!
In the three-month bridge course, participants gain insights into fields of work in social work, pedagogy and education. There is subject- and job-related German training, thematic workshops and excursions to places of work. The aim of the course is to prepare participants for taking up employment with appropriate qualifications.
Course dates: 12.04.-16.07.2021 and 27.09.-17.12.2021.
In the three- to four-week orientation course school, teachers from abroad receive information on their professional opportunities in Saxony and on the recognition procedure for teachers. They will gain insights into the Saxon school system, the educational mission of schools and the roles and tasks of teachers.
Course dates: 22.02.-19.03.2021 and 30.08.-17.09.2021
In the one to two-day information course on career paths for teachers in Saxony, participants receive information on their career options in Saxony and on the recognition procedure for teachers.
Course dates: 03.-04.02.2021, approximately quarterly
We also accompany foreign social workers, childhood educators and teachers who are in the recognition process and have already received a decision or an interim decision. We support them in understanding the decision and planning the next steps. Qualification support is provided on an individual basis; registration is possible at any time.
Thanks to ESF and BMAS funding, participation in the courses and qualification support is free of charge.
You can find an overview of all the information and testimonials from participants in the information sheet.
