The kick-off event for a series of further education courses for Saxon teachers on the topic of „Handelnde Teilhabe ALLER ermöglichen – Inklusive Schule in der Migrationsgesellschaft“ will take place on 6 September 2018 in the Dresden City Hall.

On Wednesday, 22 August 2018, the symposium "Sächsische Migrationsgesellschaft neu denken!", which deals with the understanding of diversity as a normal case, will take place in Dresden. The ZfI is participating with the lecture "Sachsens Vielfalt denken!" by Noa K. Ha.

From August to December, the "Courage" series of events will take place again this year, with workshops, lectures and cultural events. The programme booklet for the series of events is now available online.

From 2018 to 2022, the tjg. will participate in the programme "360° - Fonds für Kulturen der neuen Stadtgesellschaft" of the Federal Cultural Foundation and is looking for a project manager.

The project "Deutsch für den Beruf - ganz einfach!" compiles learning collections for German lessons to make it easier to teach and learn technical languages and thus make it easier to start a career.

On 02 and 03 July 2018, public lectures in the fields of German as a foreign language and German as a second language will take place at the Faculty of Linguistics, Literature and Cultural Studies of the TU Dresden.

On 19 June 2018, the time had come again: between 5 and 8 pm, the third guest banquet "Dresden is(s)t bunt" took place on Neumarkt. The Centre for Integration Studies at TU Dresden also took part in the event.

The Saxon State Ministry for Science and the Arts is funding a research project at the TU Dresden in which the role of art and culture in Dresden in a time of polarisation of opinions is being examined in more detail.

In May, HELLERAU - Europäisches Zentrum der Künste Dresden organised the festival "B-Europe", which dealt with various facets and questions of Europe. The ZfI was also represented as a guest and with a contribution by Noa Ha in the diverse catalogue of events.
