Aims and contents
The course covers basic knowledge of hazardous substances legislation, classification of hazardous substances and hazards associated with the use of toxic substances, first aid measures. Students master the handling of chemicals and can avoid hazards. They master the organization of all factual aspects of experimental chemistry lessons.

Module examination
The module examination consists of an ungraded practical laboratory course of 30 hours. Credit points are earned if the module examination is passed.
