Short Bio
Sandra Bohlinger is Professor of Adult Education at TU Dresden. Her research focuses on adult and vocational education, comparative education, education policy, and skills development.
She has been a guest professor and guest researcher at the Universities of Klagenfurt (Austria, 2020), Melbourne Graduate School of Education (Australia, 2013), Hogeschool-Universiteit Leuven (Belgium, 2012), Oulu (Finland, 2011) and Technische Universität Berlin (2008). Before joining the TU Dresden, she was Professor of Vocational Education Research at the Osnabrueck University (Germany) and Seconded National Expert for Vocational Education and Training at CEDEFOP (Thessaloniki, Greece).
Sandra Bohlinger has been working as a research fellow at the TU Darmstadt (Germany) and KIT (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, former University of Karlsruhe, Germany). She graduated from the KIT where she also received her doctoral degree and received her venia legendi from the TU Darmstadt.
