CONTESSA: Meeting with Project Partners in Phnom Penh & Colombo
As National Project Coordinator of CONTESSA, Professor Bohlinger and members from TU Dresden and KFU (Karl-Franzens University of Graz) met with team members in Phnom Penh and Coloombo in February 2020. CONTESSA–Contemporary Teaching Skills for South Asia is an EU-funded project that aims at improving teaching skills by means of blended learning.
This month’s meeting dealt with developing and validating the concept of a teacher training program as part of the project which will be implemented in all four project countries. Meetings and interviews were conducted with experts from the University of Cambodia, Paññāsāstra University of Cambodia, the Open University of Sri Lanka, the University of Colombo as well as representatives of the National Ministries of Education and the National Institutes of Education of Sri Lanka and Cambodia.
