Qualitative document analysis of learning diaries - content analysis
Summary
Competence-oriented teaching not only requires the teaching of subject-specific skills, which is still the main focus at schools and universities, but also the development of social and personal skills, which can be acquired at the theoretical and methodological levels at the university through the "cooperative learning" program. Questions include the following: Are the students prepared to take on joint lesson planning as well as joint moderation through imperative organizational plans by the seminar leaders? What forms of dependency determine the joint lesson planning and implementation of the moderation? Can cooperation be taught in training phase 1?
In the Ko-Le3 study, aimed at promoting a culture of cooperation, the student reflection documents are analyzed according to three social relationship systems:
- peer-to-coaching
- peer-to-peer
- peer-to-peer_subordinate
and assigned to one of the three forms of social relations, i.e. cooperation, competition, avoidance. The preliminary results show a general tendency towards positive social relationships as well as the limits of teaching in the joint collaboration of students.
