What we do
One of our tasks is to research the didactic conditions for successful mathematics findings at elementary school age. To this end, we initiate research projects which especially take the teaching and learning of elementary mathematics into account. We are also responsible for preparing elementary school teachers to teach math. Our teaching prepares our students to teach both in Saxony and other federal states of Germany.
