The Chair

Media education investigates the influences of media on the processes of upbringing, socialisation, and education of individuals as well as on the communication culture of a society as a whole. Furthermore, it examines how media can be used to support learning processes.

Anchoring a holistic media education in teacher training at TU Dresden with the projects DiKoLA – Digitale Kompetenz in den Lehramtsstudiengängen and MeLA – Konzeption zur Verankerung einer ganzheitlichen Medienbildung in der Lehramtsausbildung der TU Dresden
