key points of contact
At TU Dresden, there are a number of resources that support prospective and current teacher education students with a variety of services.
Central Student Information and Counseling Service (ZSB)
The Central Student Information and Counseling Service provides support throughout all phases of your studies—whether you have questions, doubts, or problems, or need help with exam preparation or graduation. During the application period, the Central Student Information and Counseling Service also offers office hours specifically for teacher education programs. This service is primarily aimed at prospective students but is also open to current students.
Academic Affairs Office at the ZLSB (Center for Teacher Education, School, and Vocational Education Research)
The Academic Affairs Office brings together all points of contact for academic organizational matters concerning teacher education students under one roof. This includes the Examination Office, which provides information on registering for and dropping courses, the Student Advising Office, which, among other things, answers questions about changing majors, degree programs, and universities; support for supplementary studies with various course offerings; and internship coordination, which provides information and support regarding school-based practical training (SPÜ) and block internships.
MTC@TUD
Making Teachers Confident (MTC) supports teacher education students at TU Dresden with various programs and formats—from the start of their studies through to their transition into their professional careers—helping them successfully complete their studies and develop personally.
