TechLA - Technical Teacher Training - Vocational Schools
Teacher Training - Vocational Schools' industrial-technical departments teach everything you need to be creative, inspiring and innovative at vocational school centers as well as in adult, continuing and further education.
Previous vocational training makes it possible to contribute experience and knowledge with benefit. However, it is also possible to study without a vocational qualification; a one-year work placement must then be completed before admission to the first state examination. This can be acquired during the course of study as part of our TechLA+ Link study option.
In the industrial-technical teaching degree program, a first subject area and a subject or a second subject area must be chosen. Combination restrictions apply, which are listed in the Study Information System(SINS).
The following industrial-technical departments can be studied in the technical teaching degree program:
- Construction technology
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering and Information Technology
- Color technology, interior design and surface technology
- Wood technology
- Metal and machine technology
- Textile Technology and Clothing (the course is part of the IngPäd+ study option in cooperation with the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau)
