Studying abroad

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences offers a variety of double degree programmes in cooperation with partner universities abroad.

Strategic partnerships

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences provides extra funding for research cooperations with our strategic partner universities in Wrocław and Trento.

Buddy Program

The Buddy Program of our department is aimed at students of the Humanities and Social Sciences who have successfully completed at least the first year of their studies. Our goal is to integrate the international students of our department even more intensively and to promote cultural exchange outside the ERASMUS environment.

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences has developed a decentralised strategy paper that aligns with the overarching strategy 'TU Dresden - Connected to the World’, and that sets the order of priorities and the focuses for our School.

The International Office of the Humanities and Social Sciences is your contact for questions about international cooperation, funding opportunities for the internationalization of research and teaching.

The International Office at the School of Humanities and Social Sciences will be discontinued at the end of 2025. From January 1, 2026, it will therefore not be possible to process inquiries or offer advice. Processes relating to planned guest stays (the issuing of hosting agreements, guest contracts and equivalence checks) will continue to be processed until February 20, 2026. Information on the future processing of these procedures will be announced promptly by email and here.

The email address will be deactivated on April 1, 2026; until then, the processing of processes may be delayed. We therefore ask you to submit requests well in advance.
