Self-conception
The Faculty Student Council"Politics, International Affairs, Society" (PIG) sees itself as a supporter of students and a driving force in student, cultural, social and political matters.
We welcome student input because we depend on a lively dialog. As elected representatives, we represent you, all students of the PIG student council. Our decisions are subject to the majority principle and do not necessarily reflect the positions and opinions of each individual member.
We advocate an open and unbiased culture of communication. Transparency, flat hierarchies and a division of labor based on solidarity are the foundation of the student council's work. We stand united against racism, anti-Semitism, hostility towards Muslims, sexism, homophobia, ableism, transphobia and any other form of discrimination and group-related misanthropy.
We are involved in university policy-making and university decision-making processes. We are therefore open to joint activities with university committees, university groups and non-university initiatives.
The FSR aims to make its work as transparent as possible and therefore provides information about FSR decisions and discussions.
