Financial support
The equal opportunities budget of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science can be used to
- subsidize travel expenses and excursions:
Members of the Faculty can apply for financial support to attend conferences, meetings or other events (including participation in digital formats). The criterion here is, on the one hand, the content orientation and, on the other hand, the promotion of scientists with regard to their scientific career. The following are to be promoted:
- Support for academics in the qualification phase in accordance with areas of activity 2 of TU Dresden's Equality Concept (p.16 para. 1 Equality Concept as of 15.1.2019)
- Promotion of employees with academic activities in accordance with areas of activity 3 (p. 25 para. 1 p. 2 of the Equality Concept as of 15.1.2019)
- Promoting the academic success of students of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science in accordance with area of activity 4 (p. 29 para. 2 of the Equality Concept as of 15.1.2019).

- Funding for event formats:
Funding is provided for event formats that serve to anchor gender equality work in research and teaching (areas of activity 6, p. 38 para. 1).
These can be conferences, workshops, guest lectures or grants for guest stays. The events can be aimed at TU Dresden researchers, students or the interested public. Applications are made by submitting an informal application to the Equal Opportunities Officer of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science. It is requested that the contribution of the event format to gender equality work is clearly presented.
