This will be followed by the annual Winckelmann Lecture featuring the presentation Antonio Allegri of Correggio: How a Painter from the Emilian Province Achieved World Fame by guest professor Dr. Elisabeth Oy-Marra (Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz). Learn more
Starting at 8:00 p.m., art education students will present their impressions of the 61st International Art Biennale in Venice in an exhibition. This year’s exhibition in Venice, titled Minor Keys (May 9 to November 22, 2026), brings together contemporary art from around 100 countries and has received an extraordinary response, in part due to the return of the Russian Pavilion.
At the same time, our book table offers a wide selection of art history literature looking for a new home.
We also want to let our guests participate in the musical program of the celebration: Everyone has the opportunity to add a song of their choice to our Participation Playlist.
