Board
Johannes Gilch (Chairman)
I am 30 years old, originally from Bavaria and passed the first state law examination in Leipzig. Afterwards, I completed the LL.M.-IP with a stay abroad in Strasbourg. Immediately afterwards, I started working as a research assistant for Prof. Götting, where I took care of the coordination of our offer for non-lawyers, the ZIPR. I am currently doing my doctorate under Prof. Lauber-Rönsberg on the data protection law problem of automated decision making in the health sector. I moved to Berlin at the beginning of 2021 for my legal traineeship.
Judith Hesse (Vice Chair, Secretary)
I am the "old hand" on the board: immediately after graduating from the Master's programme - I was in beautiful Exeter - I coordinated the Master's programme as a research assistant from 2010 to 2012 and have also been active in the Alumni Association since then. I have been living and working in Munich since 2012. Until 2019 as a lawyer with a focus on IP, currently as head of the legal department in a software manufactory in the field of "connected car". I am very connected to the chair and am happy to not only continue to be involved in the board, but also to regularly give lectures for the LLM participants and participants of the certificate courses.
Jette Nordemann (Treasurer)
I grew up in Potsdam and studied in Greifswald. After passing the 1st state exam, I started my LL.M. in the winter semester of 2017 and spent the semester abroad in beautiful (not always rainy!) Seattle. For the summer semester, of course, I went to Dresden - and since a single semester seemed far too short for this great city and the beautiful surrounding area, I decided to stay here a little longer. In November 2018, I started my legal clerkship at the Dresden Regional Court and recently completed it with the 2nd state exam.
