We are very honored to announce that Prof. Dr. Horst-Peter Götting, founder and initiator of our LL.M. Program has recieved the "Ehrennadel" (Badge of Honour) of Technische Universität Dresden! "Prof. Dr. Horst-Peter Götting played an extremely constructive role in shaping the formation of the Humanities and Social Sciences Division as Dean of the Faculty of Law at TU Dresden from 2010 to 2016. His always goal-oriented pragmatism is to thank for numerous solutions that have led to the promotion of consensus-based decisions and processes in the field. In addition, he mastered the challenge of integrating the Faculty of Law into the Faculty of Humanities in an exemplary manner, for which Prof. Dr. Götting deserves unreserved recognition as a personality. Prof. Dr. Götting initiated the postgraduate program "International Studies in Intellectual Property Law", which received an award from the Stifterverband der Deutschen Wissenschaft. From 2005 to 2020, he was Director of the Institute for Intellectual Property, Competition and Media Law (IGEWeM)."
