Founded on October 1st 2020, the Institute for International Law, Intellectual Property and Technology Law is part of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Science at TU Dresden. It offers both Bachelor's and Master's degree programs as well as certificate courses.
The Institute is comprised of over 40 employees and four chairs:
Chair of International Law, European Union Law and International Relations
Chair of International Law, European Law and Public Law
Chair of Public Law, esp. Environmental and Technological Law
Chair of Civil Law, Intellectual Property, Media and Data Protection Law
as well as five research centers:
Research Center for Foundations and Foundation Law
Research Center for Research Funding and Technology Transfer
Research Center for Medical Criminal Law
United Nations Research Center
Research Center for International Legal and State Theory
Moreover, the Institute comprises multiple honorary professorships. It is also supported by numerous freelance lecturers.
