Welcome to the Chair of Methods in Empirical Social Research
Natalja Menold has held the Chair since 2019. Dr. Robert Neumann and Dipl.-Psych. Oliver Brust are Research Associates at the Chair. Within the framework of the DFG project Ensuring Valid Comparisons of Self-Reports in Heterogeneous Populations and Marginalized Groups (ENSURE) Jasmin Kadel M.A. and Dipl.-Soz. Hagen von Hermanni and in the DKH project Financial Impact of Tumor Diseases (FIAT) Dipl.-Soz. Luise Richter are additional project members at the chair. Kerstin Schaeffer manages the Chair's office. Five student assistants and tutors support the Chair in research and teaching.
Profile
Research projects at the Chair focus on the development and optimization of data collection and evaluation methods on the one hand, and on sociological or social science issues using empirical social research methods on the other.
