Visit to the temporary exhibition “Overkill” at the Bundeswehr Museum of Military History
On May 28, 2024, the employees of the Chair of International Politics took a trip to the temporary exhibition “Overkill” at the Bundeswehr Museum of Military History in Dresden. The exhibition deals with the topics of military, technology, and culture during the Cold War. The examination of military technology from this period was particularly interesting in the context of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Many of the military items shown in the exhibition are currently being used in Ukraine and are part of the current discourse on security policy.
We recommend a visit to the exhibition to anyone interested. It will be on display until June 30, 2024. In addition, an evaluation of our visit will take place as part of the colloquium. The colloquium will be held on June 12, 2024, from 16:40 to 18:10 in room GER/246.
As part of this excursion, we also said goodbye to our colleague Benedikt Lindner, who worked as a research assistant at the professorship. We wish him much success in his future career and in completing his Master's degree.
